Contributing to the environment's well-being through environmental protection and also creating necessary awareness, rests with today's youth and the students of BITS, Pilani-Dubai fully realize this. BITS, Pilani-Dubai actively encourages its students to participate in all environmental related activities and plays a pro-active role in environmental protection. BPD students also participate in the contests and activities organized by the Emirates Environmental Group where the students of BPD are invited to build and present strong cases on different contemporary issues and questions relating to environment. This was meant for general public and was aimed at motivating them and helping them in facing life on a more positive note.

The safe and disciplined ambience at BPD attracts parents to admit their wards, especially girls, in a big way. This has led to a steady increase in the percentage of girls among students admitted every year, which has risen from 22% in 2005 to 32% in 2008 admissions. Currently, girls constitute around 27% of the total student strength on campus.

BITS, Pilani-Dubai encourages students from all nationalities and religions, to seek admission at its campus. It particularly encourages the minority communities to seek education and develop the quality of their living.

Thus, BITS, Pilani-Dubai continuously strives to serve the society at large.
