BITS, Pilani-Dubai, on the occasion of the successful completion of a decade of its educational excellence in the field of engineering and technology, commenced its five new evening programmes. All the five programmes namely M.E-Design Engineering, M.E-Microelectronics, M.Sc.(Tech.)Engineering technology and MBA in two streams – Engineering and Technology Management and IT enabled services management are specially offered for the working engineering professionals in the UAE . All the programmes have received initial approvals from Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai .

The Orientation Programme for the first batch of its students was held on 29 th January 2010. Engineering professionals from all over UAE and neighbouring countries, who are enrolled for these programme attended the orientation, which gave them a complete overview of the Institution, programme details, insight on the academic rules and regulations etc. Dr. M. Ramachandran Director, BPD said- “The Institution has reached those standards of excellence which are required for offering of such programmes and through this, BITS, Pilani-Dubai is offering a wonderful opportunity for working professionals to enhance their qualifications and acquire world class engineering or management degree in their areas of specialization, which will result in their career advancement.”

The classes commenced on 31 st January 2010 and are scheduled on alternate weekdays in the evenings along with Friday for the convenience of the working professionals.

On successful completion of the programmes, students will be awarded the degrees from the prestigious B ITS, Pilani–Rajasthan India .
